Black Creativity
by Angela Harkless

Hailed as one of the premier social events in Chicago, the annual Black Creativity Gala welcomed more than 1,000 guests on

February 1st to kick-off the Museum of Science and Industry’s Black History Month programming.
This year marked the 32nd year of MSI’s Black Creativity Festival. The theme for 2003 is “Cyber Rhythms: Black Innovations in Technology.” The gala celebration was a special highlight of a six-week, multi-faceted tribute to the African American experience. Cyber Rhythms will present the contributions of African Americans in the Technological Revolution which encompasses all forms of information technology and services.
